Our growing Imunify Security team is looking for a Security Automation Engineer to design and develop internal services that helps our Malware Analysts to analyze various types of malware attacks to the web hosting servers and create improvements in our products that will help prevent infections for our clients in the future.

As our Security Automation Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing patterns and processes which are used by Malware Analysts
  • Design and develop automation for processes, used by Malware Analysts
  • Describing and prioritizing requirements for other teams
  • omunicating with other teams to control the development of the requirements
  • Reviewing any relevant information about efficiency of Imunify Security protection to determine the best way to improve processes
  • Building and testing prototypes of new security measures to prevent future attacks together with Malware Analysts
  • Researching new types of malware to help create detection methods for new threats
  • Documenting internal services and processes

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • GNU/Linux operating system and shell scripting experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working with PHP
  • Experience in Apache / Nginx / (LightSpeed would be a plus)
  • English - upper-intermediate or advanced level
  • It will be a plus:
    • Knowledge of web-based malware analysis (unpack, deobfuscation, etc)
    • Experience cleaning up websites from malware
    • Python programming skills
    • Knowledge of regular expressions (PCRE)
    • Understanding of standards and frameworks: CVE, CWE, CVSS, MITRE ATTamp;CK, etc;
