Job Description


As the global COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, many cities have struggled in response to the desperate need of testing and case investigation. CORE has aided the public health systems, first in Los Angeles and northern California, and then in major cities including New Orleans, Atlanta, Chicago, Washington DC, and New York. Our first line of response has been testing, in large volume drive through sites, but also at a community level targeted toward the underserved populations. Building on that successful implementation, we are taking the next steps to provide broader health services to the community through benefits navigation and community outreach.In this work we are partnering with, Fulton County Board of Health (FCBOH), Fulton County Schools, and community based organizations (CBOs) in Fulton County. Position Overview: The Community Response Manager will support all programmatic efforts through the provision of leadership, development, implementation, and team management of the Resource Navigators. Resource Navigators fill an important gap in connecting individuals to broader health services, community resources, and providing health education to the public through community outreach.Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License, verifiable good driving record, and reliable transportation
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects required
  • Experience working in Fulton County
  • Experience supervising teams in complex environments preferred
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to exhibit a professional, positive attitude and work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required and ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals and individuals in distress
Responsibilities
  • Provides intensive and ongoing supervision of the team as they engage in the community. Serve as an expert resource and advocate for the team.
  • Develops tools to document team progress; provide regular feedback, monitor and assess the team’s progress with direction from the data team.
  • Serves as subject matter expert, interpreting policies and guidelines and ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with standardized practices.
  • Coordinates the activities of staff to ensure all aspects of the program are addressed in a timely and complete way.
  • Manage and review all data entry.
  • Ensures data produced by the team is accurate and reported to supervisors and leadership upon request.
  • Ensures all procedures are followed by staff.
  • Coordinates with the district, regional, and community-based organizations as a liaison to ensure program efforts are carried out effectively.
