Our progressive model allows our team to take an unconventional approach by finding and fostering emerging talent, we have built a global talent network of 3,500 storytellers working alongside over 50 in-house creatives. We shape experiences, rethink conventions, and speak to new audiences across four key categories: students, brands, universities amp; nonprofits, and originals. If you’re passionate about clear, concise storytelling and enjoy working in an energetic, creative environment, then this position may be a perfect fit. We are looking for a copywriter who can inform and engage, entertain and compel, connect and inspire. Our ideal candidate is willing to put in the time, energy, and enthusiasm to get the job done and done well but also has the ability to create copy quickly and efficiently when needed. Above all else, we’re looking for a writer who truly loves words, appreciates well-crafted storytelling, and understands the amount of work required to produce a single draft of copy (let alone multiple rounds of revisions!).
This role is full-time and based out of our brand new headquarters in Grant Park, Atlanta. What you’ll do:
  • Responsibilities run the gamut, including concept development, brand/messaging development, print and digital collateral, scriptwriting, rigorous editing, and proofreading, et al.
  • Write compelling copy in a variety of styles, for a variety of audiences, in a voice and tone adapted to fit each individual project
  • Justify and communicate underlying creative strategy: how and why will your language connect, engage, and inspire?
  • Help advance creative vision on each project, contributing from initial pitch phase to project wrap
  • Collaborate and communicate with teammates across a range of disciplines, from creative directors to designers, project managers, account managers, and more
  • Stay up-to-date on trends to ensure the freshest concepts and approaches
  • The in-house authority of iU writing style and grammar
