The Post Producer is responsible for helping to scale and grow the Post-Production department, by overseeing specific project initiatives from the post-production perspective. An expert at planning and prioritization, the Post Producer is a leader, advocate, mover, maker, and game-changer who approaches post-production with excitement and innovation. This role is responsible for making fair, well-informed, and effective decisions in relation to team processes, workflows, budgets, and timelines.What you’ll be responsible for:- Work with the Post Production Supervisor to help shape Post-Production processes and workflow
- Assigning tasks to specific editors within the project team
- Communicating the status and issues of a project to managers
- Ensuring projects’ post-production milestones and deliverable deadlines are being met
- Standard quality check to error-proof edits before they are sent to Creative Leads
- Create post-budget estimates for new opportunities (as assigned)
- Sign-off on timelines and budgets for post-production (for assigned projects)
- Build and oversee post crew on a project-to-project basis
- Hire post-team freelancers, as needed per project
- Work with full-time team members as needed per project
- Oversight of project-level post budgets
- Track any project-specific paperwork for post crew
- Ensure all crew on a project have the resources they need (hard drives, tools, etc)
- Calling meetings to discuss post-production-related updates or concerns with the project team as needed

- Extensive knowledge of key post members' roles and responsibilities.
- Must take initiative and have the ability to work both alone and collaboratively.

- Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Premiere Pro
- Video editing experience and understanding of the editing process
