Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Business Development Director to join our dynamic business development team. This role is ideal for someone with an established track record of success creating partnerships through branded content, universities and/or nonprofit organizations. The New Business Director is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, creating and fostering key client relationships, closing business, and driving revenue. The position will report to Ideas United’s VP of Growth.
What you'll do:
  • Work closely with VP to identify new business opportunities, establish and develop relationships with key decision-makers, create and present iU proposals based on client needs, close new business and increase revenue
  • Create and execute a plan to build iU’s branded content business
  • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
  • Initiate sales process with pre-existing leads and contacts from iU CEO, President, and VP
  • Develop proposals based on opportunities, client needs analysis and agency solution capabilities
  • Lead pitches and presentations to potential partners/clients
  • Negotiate deals from beginning to end of sales cycle
  • Meets quarterly and annual sales goals by developing an account strategy, pipeline, and managing internal and client processes
  • Coordinate with Creative amp; Production and Account Managers to ensure smooth processes from initial partnership outreach to partnership launch
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets
  • Remain point of contact for strategic alliances and partnership growth
