CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to build sustained, community-based response programs to natural disasters. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, CORE provides free vaccinations to disadvantaged communities and emerging hotspots around Georgia. This is accomplished through maintaining strategic partnerships with local health agencies and community-based organizations to reach high-risk populations in vulnerable areas. CORE’s mobile vaccination teams require Assistant Site Managers to assist in leading these initiatives in local communities, to provide structure to teams, and to provide a strong face to the public. This full-time position is compensated at a rate of $17.50-$20.00/hour.

- Assist a field-based mobile COVID-19 Vaccination unit in supporting the region's efforts to provide vaccinations to areas with an identified need ·
- Ensure all staff are present, accounted for, and adhering to schedule ·
- Share responsibility of driving company vehicle and materials to worksite on scheduled work days ·
- Direct CORE staff in set-up, operations, and break down of mobile sites ·
- Ensure staff are given clear goals and objectives ·
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times ·
- Assist in the management and monitoring of supply inventory ·
- Assist with scheduling for all staff on unit if needed ·
- Maintain strong relationships within CORE, project partners, and other local authorities ·
- Participate in CORE’s safety training program ·
- Monitor daily site operations and adapt to changes ·
- Report to Site Manager for direction and communicate significant incidents ·
- Perform any other work-related duties if applicable.
Requirements
- Live in, or in commutable proximity to Fulton County, Georgia ·
- Available full-time, as early as July 25th, 2022 ·
- At least 21 years old, eligible to drive a CORE vehicle ·
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work sites ·
- Comfortable working outdoors if needed ·
- Excellent analytical skills, observation and analysis capacity ·
- Able to remain calm under pressure and stay flexible in changing environments on site ·
- Stay adaptable to changes in policy, procedure, protocol, and weather ·
- Able to cope with stress, adhere to deadlines, and respect CORE management · Attentive to detail, well organized, and a practical a problem-solver ·
- Must be able to stand in two-hour intervals in personal protective equipment ·
- Readiness to commit and adhere to the values, mission and vision of CORE ·
- Flexible weekly availability, as site times may vary from week to week ·
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 ·
- Excellent written and spoken English. (Bilingual in Spanish or another language preferred)
