Job Description:ResponsibilitiesThe Director, Sales Engineering Americas is responsible for coaching, monitoring the Sales Engineering team in the Americas ensuring they provide exemplary pre-sales support to the sales team focusing on territory and enterprise accounts. This is a hands on position not purely managerial. Our Sales Engineers assist in driving new business from prospective and existing customer accounts within their respective assigned territory, and meeting and/or exceeding all sales quotas to achieve revenue goals. This position will organize, plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the technical pre-sales engagement experience for the Americas region.
Qualifications:Required Skills/Experienceo Education: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experienceo Security analytics experienceo At least five years of experience as manager in this fieldo Excellent knowledge of general networking concepts, and operating systems to include Linux and Windowso Strong understanding of security and information event management (SIEM)o Preferred hands on experience with ArcSight, Splunk, NetWitness, IBM QRadar, McAfee SIEMo Knowledge of scripting languages like Python/Perlo Confident in front of customers and audienceso Passion for sales and techo Self-motivated and strong work ethico Clear, concise and effective communicatoro Strong presentation skills and commitment to customer satisfactiono Demonstrated capability to handle Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations
Responsibilitieso Provide exemplary pre-sales technical expertise through technical and product demonstrations and train the Americas Sales Engineer organization to that high level.o Act as a business resource to the customer/prospect and provide industry expert executive level selling practices with consistent communication and on-going technical consultationo Proactively drive Strategic and Enterprise account opportunities within key territory accountso Work in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, and Product Managers, the Sales Engineer (SE) is the technical bridge between our Enterprise Business Representatives (demand generation) and their pre-sales customerso Lead by example so the SE Americas team take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online and via phoneo Support the regional Sales Organization to ensure timely and successful closing of sales to potential customerso Liaison between customers and Product Management to communicate relevant feedback and customer requirementso Assist in planning and conducting mid/high-level meetings with customers and prospectso Ability to quickly learn, apply and position technical knowledge related Anomali’s technology and competitor offerings
