SummaryThe Resource Manager will work closely with the Project Operations team, helping manage internal resources and capacity, and contractor recruitment. The Resource Manager must be incredibly organized, able to find clarity without having all the data, and can see the big picture connecting all the details they are tracking.
What you'll do: General
- Work closely with Project Managers to forecast resourcing needs and availability and provide input to assemble the team as quickly as possible to provide the maximum amount of time to create/build/develop
- Have a deep understanding of project needs and individual experience and skills in order to help review team assignments, distribute resources, and set projects up for success
- Work closely with Project Managers to plan and allocate resources; provide feedback on assigning people to projects based on their skills, previous experience, availability, or project budget
What you'll do: Internal resource management
- Manage weekly time tracking, including verifying logged hours and identifying and rectifying discrepancies
- Lead capacity planning to ensure that the company’s resources have enough capacity to deliver upcoming projects
- Support Project Managers in ongoing resource management efforts by reallocating resources, adjusting goals or requirements, or assigning new people to the team.
What you'll do: Contractor recruitment, outreach, and onboarding
- Assist team members with identifying the appropriate levels of available contractors, recruitment, and outreach
- Negotiate and create contracts using standard company procedures, manage contract expiration dates, ensure contractors are compliant with relevant legal requirements, and ensure paperwork is uploaded, signed, and up-to-date in our database
- Work with the relevant departments to oversee initial onboarding for contractors to ensure the contractor is properly set up.
What we'll love about you:
- Experience with time tracking systems, tracking hours, and reviewing timesheets for completeness and accuracy
- A general understanding of independent contractor contracts and negotiation
- Knowledge of resource allocation, and a desire to efficiently allocate based upon availability, skills, and preferences
- Experience in a creative or production environment, directly interacting with team members
- Previous exposure to monday.com and data analysis tools
