As a Product Owner, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the work undertaken by your product team. Working closely with your team of solutions authors and QA, you will have the crucial responsibility of keeping the team focused on building innovative solutions that exceed client expectations and providing the best-in-class offerings that our users love.
Snapshot of problems you’ll be solving:Identify and execute on the needs of our US customers to help them create a compelling product offering in their local markets.
You’ll get to work on our US Cloud Suite, building the tools to lead the digital transformation of the audit and accounting industry.
In this role, you will be reporting to Ryan Blackburn, the Head of US Solutions.
This is a remote role and is open to all applicants eligible to work and residing in the US or Canada.This is a 16-months maternity leave contract.US CPA is ideal fit; CA CPA who worked with the US market would be considered a strong fit too.

Be an expert on the domain, the market, and the trends. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned, have context, and understand where we are going.
- Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Bring the customer's voice into the creation process. Own requirements, specifications, and release plans. Research and apply regulations and governing standards to product requirements
- Foster an environment that promotes innovation. Think beyond what the customers are asking for and design what the customer hasn't even considered.
- Drive for the best customer experience possible. Drive the end-to-end feature and product delivery cycle ensuring the product meets our high-quality standards.
- Lead and manage agile ceremonies and drive solutions to completion working with Agile teams.
- Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product plays a critical role in creating alignment between teams and stakeholders as well as between platforms and solutions to ensure requirements are delivered. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job.
- Determine metrics that should be used to measure the success of the sprint and ultimately the product release.
What you’ll bring:- US CPA is a strong asset (or a Canadian CPA with exposure to the US clients)
- Experience working in audit and assurance at a public accounting firm.
- You are passionate about technology, and how to use it to solve the problems faced by auditors and accountants.
- You are a highly motivated amp; proactive contributor. You don’t wait to be told what to do.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Build the right relationship with your customers, distributors and colleagues.
- A collaborative, team-first attitude is essential to the job.
- A nice to have - contributing to the development or adoption of new technology within a public accounting firm.
- A nice to have - Product Owner knowledge and/or experience with agile software development
