Job Description:A Data Scientist in security analytics at Anomali will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, developing algorithms and employing machine learning techniques to enhance security systems, and detection content.Key Responsibilities:o Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies, patterns, and trends that could indicate potential security threats.o Algorithm Development: Develop and implement algorithms and statistical models to improve security detection and response capabilities.o Machine Learning: Employ machine learning techniques to predict, classify, and manage potential security threats and campaigns.o Threat Intelligence: Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to translate threat intel reports into detection content.o AI Model Development and Training: Assist in the development and training of AI models focusing on content detection rules and behavioral analysis, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:o Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, with a specialization in AI preferred.o Experience: Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience in AI model development, particularly in content detection and behavioral analysis.o Technical Skills: Proficiency in AI and machine learning tools, programming languages (Python, R), and experience with large-scale data processing.o Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and develop innovative solutions.o Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and clear reporting of findings.o Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the rapidly evolving field of AI.o Team Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
